Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland is a busy fella. Aside from his exhaustive touring schedule with the nu-metal heroes and releasing his debut solo album Crystal Machete in May, the 41-year old madman is set to star in his very own reality tv show, entitled Sight Unseen.
Premiering on the DIY Network in the U.S on July the 13th, the show centers on Borland and his fiancee Carre Callaway as they renovate a run-down house in Detroit, Michigan. According to the official program description, “Newly engaged rockers, Wes Borland and Carre Callaway, are running headfirst into a massive fixer upper in the Motor City. They are scared and overwhelmed, but they like it that way! Both are ready to get their hands dirty and bring a historic gem back to the 21st century and call it home.”
Callaway is the main songwriter and frontwoman for indie band Queen Kwong, which also features Borland on guitar.
Like every show in the U.S, it will probably get cancelled after eleven minutes on air, but likely to be quality viewing nonetheless considering Borland has a reputation for being a bit of an oddball at the best of times.
Check out an instagram post from the man himself regarding the new show, and while we’re on the subject we may as well revisit the greatest appearance of a musician on a reality tv show with Adam Dutkiewicz from Killswitch Engage tearing it up on The Price Is Right.
