Deathcore turned Dad rockers BRING ME THE HORIZON have turned their talents to culinary delights with the release of a limited run vegan burger available at a restaurant chain in the U.K.
The band revealed via a Facebook post that they teamed up with an English burger company to bring fans the tasty treat, which is laden with faux meat that for anyone who hasn’t had the pleasure, looks, smells and pretty much tastes exactly like the real thing. For just £8.50 ($17 AUD) you can enjoy the “beef”, “cheese” and “ribs” burger, while getting to take home a snazzy BMTH sticker and the smug feeling of refusing to contribute to the slaughter of millions of defenseless cows and cheeses around the globe.
”We teamed up with Twisted Burger Company to create the mouth watering Bring Me The Burger special. Running for the next month at all 3 of their restaurants located in Sheffield’s The Harley Hotel, The Riverside and Doncaster’s Vintage Rock Bar. If you’re in the area, be sure to go try it out”
The fellas were scheduled to play the now defunct Soundwave Festival in 2016, with the band themselves initially creating the speculation that the event may not go ahead. The band updated their twitter stating that for anyone that they were still confirming their appearance, leading to disgraced promoter AJ Maddah letting the near-dead cat out of the bag for one last pathetic meow only to reveal that the event was to be cancelled. Information later surfaced that suggested Maddah owes in excess of $25 million, some of which is owed to bands that have played the festival in previous years.
