A DAY TO REMEMBER have premiered a new song entitled Paranoia on insufferable bastard Zane Lowe’s radio show Beats 1 last night.
When asked by Lowe if the song was a hint at a new record from the band, frontman Jeremy McKinnon revealed:
“You’re acting like there’s some mystery album floating out there in the ether and I’m telling you there’s not! It was one of those random things, we were in a room together writing some music casually for fun with no expectations – that’s actually true – and we’d been doing it for a few weeks just kicking around some new ideas and Kevin just started playing this random riff in the corner. It snowballed from there, we wrote it in one day”
A Day To Remember formed in 2003 and have released five full length albums, the most recent being 2013’s Common Courtesy, self-released after a lawsuit erupted with their label Victory Records over USD$75,000 in unpaid royalties.
You can check out Paranoia below, and I apologise in advance for making you listen to fucking Zane Lowe.
