VOLUMES Frontman Calls Ex-Vocalist Michael Barr’s Solo Work ‘BARBIE MUSIC’, Hilarity Ensues
As reported by Lambgoat (original story here), VOLUMES frontman Gus Farias has lashed out to ex-member/clean vocalist Michael Barr in a Twitter tirade, stating Barr’s solo work “FUKN SUCKS ASS” (he’s not wrong tbh) and rather poignantly to “KEEP MAKING THAT BARBIE MUSIC PUSSY.”

The drama unfolded when Farias launched the below tweet claiming he had just heard Barr’s solo music for the first time, following it up with several others that were retweeted by brother and fellow bandmate Diego Farias.

Barr then joined in on the conversation by replying with a number of levelheaded, reasonably polite tweets, stating he wishes Farias “all the best”, but it appears ol’ buddy Gus was unwilling to return the niceties, accusing Barr of abandoning him while he was battling an addiction to heroin.

Here’s the full Twitter exchange, beginning from the bottom up.

What actually happened between Farias and Barr will probably never be known, but it’s quite clear from the exchange that things were strained during the time of Barr’s departure. I could say something about Farias being hugely out of line with his series of tweets, and then roast him IPHYB style, but we’ve already been threatened with legal action once this week band it’s only Monday.

In case you missed Barr’s solo material, you can check out the first single he released in January 2016, Where You Been. Be warned though, it FUKN SUCKS ASS.

P.S — Volumes are also not a very good band. Cheers.
