The Victorian leg of the FALLS FESTIVAL is facing cancellation in the wake of devastating bushfires that have plagued the Great Ocean Road and Otway Ranges.
Organisers will hold a crisis meeting with emergency services representatives at midday today (Saturday) to determine whether the event scheduled to begin on the 28th of December will go ahead.
The festival is to be held in thick scrub at the Falls Farm, 15km from the fire-besieged Surf Coast resort town of Lorne.
53 homes were lost along the Great Ocean Road at Lorne, Wye River, and Separation Creek, with the CFA saying they believe the fires could burn out of control for weeks to come.
Despite constant warnings on the radio and news in the days leading up to Christmas, Channel 7 stated many (absolute dumbfucks) holiday makers claimed they were caught unaware by the fires.
Don’t be a spatula, stay the fuck away from the area until given the all clear.
I Probably Hate Your Band is a shitty website full of asshole writers. We do nothing but destroy the hopes and dreams of young bands, and have never offered a single positive thing to the world. /Sarcasm
