December 7th apparently marked National Letter Writing Day, and the frontman of RADIOHEAD, Thom Yorke, wrote a letter to Santa alongside a bunch of other musicians and actors (Tim Minchin, Benedict Cumberbatch) as part of the Letters of Noel project.
In his letter, Yorke asks for a small number of things, including reading glasses, peace, that his kids have a nice Christmas, snow, and that Santa considers skipping out on giving presents to “oil company executives and politicians whose influence they buy”.
He also writes “I won’t ask you to solve the problems of the human race. Those are our own problems alone”, and ends by thanking Santa for the ZX81 computer he received when he was eleven.
You can read the full letter over at NME.
