Sydney metalcore band POLARIS have cracked the ARIA charts with their latest EP The Guilt & The Grief, debuting at no. 34 and no. 11 on the ARIA Album charts and Australian Artist charts respectively.
Sitting between ex-footy player/borderline genius/insufferable flog Vance Joy and electropop starlet Halsey, the charting is a major testament to the young band’s success, who have seen a well-deserved surge in popularity since the release of the cracking EP on January 29.
The band announced the news on their Facebook, stating they were grateful to fans for ‘making an independent bands dream come true’.
The Guilt & The Grief is the follow-up to their debut EP, Dichotomy, released in 2013, with the band set to showcase the record when they hit the road with Underoath cover-band Stories on The Youth To Become Tour beginning this month.
