NECK DEEP Manager Hospitalised After Fall
Neck Deep‘s merchandise manager, Derek Buell, has been hospitalised following an incident last night where he apparently fell about 40 feet (roughly 12 metres) from a balcony at SXSW.

The accident reportedly left him in a critical condition overnight, however, he is now “in a stable condition” according to his father via a post on social media:

“My son Derek fell last night at South by Southwest in Austin TX. He is in University Medical Center Brackenridge with fractures of the skull, face and vertebrae, He is in a stable condition. Please send Positive Vibes his way [sic].”

Buell has also worked as a merchandising mangaer (it’s exactly what it sounds like – he manages their merch) with A Day To Remember, Pierce The Veil, and others.

He is expected to make a full recovery.
