Dreadfully overrated normie-metal band GHOST have snapped up a Grammy award for ‘Best Metal Performance’ at the 58th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
The swedes took out the award for their song Cirice, taken from their third full-length album Meliora.
In his acceptance speech, frontman Papa Emeritus III (for fucks sake) said “Hello, we are Ghost. Thank you so much for this. This is a big, big thing for us, obviously. And, you know, a nightmare has just turned into a dream. So, thank you all for that. Thank you, everybody involved, and thank you for voting. Now go party.”
The gimmick-band beat August Burns Red, Slipknot, Sevendust and Lamb Of God for the award, much to the dismay of LOG guitarist Mark Morton who said it would be nice to “finally win a Grammy”.
