Electronica musician CHET FAKER has announced that he will be teaming up once again with fellow Australian FLUME to produce an new EP.
Since his hit ‘No Diggity’, Chet Faker (a.k.a. Nick Murphy) has travelled only upwards in both the local and international music scenes. The same can be said for Flume (a.k.a. Harley Streten), whose hits ‘Sleepless’ and ‘Holdin’ On’ skyrocketed him to fame back in 2012 and 2013.
The announcement of the new collaboration arrived via an interview with Thump, however the EP’s title and anticipated date of release is still unknown.
In the interview, Murphy had this to say on his previous work with Flume:
“The whole idea behind that [the Lockjaw EP] was because I wanted to create a separate vision between my art, which is my bread and butter, and this opposite approach which was open arms and like, “let’s just make music and see what comes out.”
