Melbourne based core-crossover kings BELLE HAVEN have had some gear stolen and their van vandalised while on their current tour across the U.S.
In a time where it seems bands are being robbed of their gear every single week, Belle Haven was lucky to escape with only a minimal amount taken, but it’s still a massive kick in the bollocks when you’re supposed to be out living the dream, only to have your van hit by America’s apparently most highly organised and profitable gang of music gear thieves.
Old mate pipes David De La Hoz had this to say about the incident:
Thankfully it was only a few hundred dollars worth of gear and not a few thousand – we’re more concerned about the tag on the RV; if we can’t get it off, we lose our deposit, which is … a lot. A lot that we don’t have the luxury of being able to afford. We’re optimistic, though. And regardless of what happens, this tour has been such a positive influence on all of our lives, I don’t think anything could beat us down at this point! x
Belle Haven are currently touring with Norma Jean on the 10-year anniversary for the flagship album (and one of the greatest of all time, ever) O’ God The Aftermath. You might like to help out the lads by buying some merch from their bigcartel store HERE.
